Sergiy Bochko
Deputy Director of Ukrpatent

He was born on March 16, 1960 in Oleksandriya, Kirovograd region.

Education

He has got the first profession – tiler-inlayer  - in 1977 upon graduating from PTS #7 in Oleksandriya.
Upon serving in the Soviet Army he graduated from Odesa National Economy Institute and was qualified as an economist (1984).
He has also the full higher education by specialty “Intellectual property” being qualified as an intellectual property manager after graduating from Interagency Advanced Training Institute at the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” (2002).

Labor Activities

He started out in 1984 as a comptroller-auditor, senior comptroller-auditor of the Board of Audit and Inspection of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine in Oleksandria district, Kirovograd region (up to 1988).
From 1988 to 1990 he worked as a Head of the Financial-and-Economic Department, a business-manager of Kirovograd L.Y.C.L.U. (Leninist Young Communist League of Ukraine) regional committee. From 1990 to 1994 he was Head of the department, Deputy Chief of Inspection – Head of the Tax Investigation Department at the State Tax Inspection in Lenin district of Kirovograd. 
Beginning from March, 1994 he held executive positions in different commercial companies, banks and state institutions in Kirovograd (up to May, 2001).
In June, 2001 he was appointed a Deputy Director of State Enterprise “Ukrainian Institute of Industrial Property” (Ukrpatent). He participated in elimination of Chernobyl accident consequences.

Family Status

He is married and has two daughters.
