On Transfer of Rights to IPOs |

In January, 2012 the active work was continued for realization of tasks aimed at implementation of the state policy in the field of use of rights to industrial property objects (IPO) protected on the territory of Ukraine. During the said period the Department received 150 sets of documents for entering in the appropriate state registers of data about transfer of property rights to IPOs and granting of licenses to their use. The data about 186 transfers of rights to IPOs. |

Public Patent Documents Collection (PPDC) |

The total PPDC collection on optical media as of February 1, 2012 reached 17510 discs. PPDC is formed in accordance with the State policy aimed at supporting the innovative course of Ukraine’s development. It is offered on paper and electronic carriers. The bulk of the collection is made up by official bulletins of patent offices, the most of them being in hard copies. |

The PIB’s CD-ROM & DVD-ROM collection as of February 1, 2012 contains about 13820 discs.

Performance in December, 2011 |

In December, 2011 State Intellectual Property Service of Ukraine received 500 applications for inventions, 1022 applications for utility models, 2554 applications for trademarks and service marks. Total amount of the registered documents in December, 2011 made up 2955 documents of title. |
