In January, 2010 the active work was continued for realization of tasks aimed at implementation of the state policy in the field of use of rights to industrial property objects (IPO) protected on the territory of Ukraine.

The first number 2010 of "Intelektualna Vlasnist" ("Intellectual Property") magazine is being prepared for publishing.

In January, 2010 State Department of Intellectual Property received 338 applications for inventions, 605 applications for utility models, 1706 applications for trademarks and service marks.

Total amount of registered documents of title made up 279771 as of 01.02.2010.

The PIB’s CD-ROM & DVD-ROM collection as of February 1, 2010 contains 13000 discs. PIB contains national patent documentation and foreign patent-information products (in general on modern electronic media – CD-ROM & DVD-ROM) coming from the Patent Offices of the leading countries as well as international intellectual property organizations (EPO, WIPO).

Total amount of registered documents of title made up 267328 as of 01.01.2010.

In December, 2009 State Department of Intellectual Property received 523 applications for inventions, 1108 applications for utility models, 1732 applications for trademarks and service marks under national procedure, 842 - under the Madrid Agreement. Total amount of the registered documents in December, 2009 made up 2375 documents of title.

The PIB’s CD-ROM & DVD-ROM collection as of January 1, 2010 contains 12970 discs.

Issue 23/2009 of the Official Bulletin "Promyslova Vlasnist" ("Industrial Property") have been published. This Official Bulletin contains the information on registered titles of protection for industrial property rights.

In November, 2009 State Department of Intellectual Property received 429 applications for inventions, 952 applications for utility models, 1770 applications for trademarks and service marks under national procedure, 621 - under the Madrid Agreement. Total amount of the registered documents in November, 2009 made up 2254 documents of title.
